1964 Corvette Restoration

One of our valued clients brought in his 1964 Corvette immediately after purchasing it out of state.  The initial inspection was not very promising.  The engine that was swapped in didn’t work properly.  The brakes were drums, the interior was torn apart, more notably the paint was very poor in quality.

This proved to be a very rewarding rebuild for both RSE and our valued client.  The incorrect and poor running motor was removed in favor for a 502 cubic inch 502 horse power big block GM crate motor.  Connected to the new engine is a 700R4 stage 3 transmission capable of holding more then 500 horsepower.  To stop all this power the stock drum brakes all around were then converted to disc.  That’s just the short list.  There are so many things done to the car that it would take hours to explain everything.  This car is a full restoration where nothing remained untouched.  Every nut, bolt, screw, and part was replaced on this car.  Pictures of the car coming soon.
